Just out for Aracne I cronotopi del volto (The Chronotopes of the Face), edited by Massimo LEONE, Elsa SORO, Cristina VOTO. AVAILABLE IN ITALIAN
Summary
Each face is a trace of the times and places that produced it and continually confronts us with a situated dimension. This positioning installs a boundary between biological and cultural perspectives, a frontier where reflections on the physiological processes underlying organic nature are intertwined with the plurality and discontinuity that characterize its cultural signification. To explore these spatio-temporal coordinates, the volume The Chronotopes of the Face recognizes the face as a strategy of spatio-temporal condensation, a tool for the study of ongoing enunciation and spatio-temporal aspectualization of identity.
